Who Are We

Gospel-centred, Intergenerational and Family-focused

Welcome to Hope EFC! Hope EFC comprises people who have put their faith and trust in Jesus as
their Lord and Saviour. That doesn’t make us perfect. It just means that in Jesus Christ we have found forgiveness and fulfilment, purpose and hope. More profoundly, God has promised his grace and presence to take us through life’s journey.

We are also intentionally intergenerational. As far as possible we keep families together for our fellowships and allow everyone in the family young and old to participate, especially during our
Worship Services. Join us as a people united in worshiping the living God, deepening our fellowship, growing in faith, and serving our community. We’d love to have you worship with us soon.

Hope EFC is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Malaysia and NECF (National Evangelical Christian Fellowship) Malaysia.

#CONNECT

TO CONNECT IS TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS. Each member has a significant role and place in the body of Christ. The shared life is defined by the self-giving love of Jesus who is our head. At Hope we teach the ‘one-another’ principle of body-life to strengthen community and wellbeing.

#WORSHIP

WORSHIP IS MAKING MUCH OF GOD. Worship is the all-embracing activity of glorifying God every moment of life. Jesus said that true worshippers worship in spirit and in truth. At Hope, we seek to submit will and affection to Jesus who says, “Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.”

When We Gather

Hope EFC is not big on programmes. We maintain only essential services and meetings, all of which are intentionally family-friendly with children remaining with their parents as far as possible.
